1. Doubt wether it is polite enough to reraise question answered in the FAQ, but ...
What if I know for sure that _this_ piece of music will not be transposed in any way?
And what if I am in a hassle and wish to save some typos & type time?
Well, for short, this is a proposition to make configurable need for typing flats &
sharps, --- say, in Voice option. Please consider: I have a whole bunch of small songs
( two - six lines) with sometimes six flats or sharps at clef, so there is no need (
and
no reason for) transposing, but there is one in typing as less as possible :)
2. Don't know, maybe I'm wrong and this is standard behavor, but when Lily encounters
something like this:
blah | blah | \break
\repeat 2 { blah | blah }
it will not terminate 1st line with a bar... and if explicitly specified, there will
be bar
at the end of 1st line, but no repeat sign at the beginning of second one :(
3. Currently I mark breath pauses like this : c8 \mark "$'$"; c8 , but this is bad
then used
in autobeaming, cause Lily eagerly will autobeam it inbetween. Could breath pause (
don't know
how to spell it, maybe caesura?) be infeatured in Lilypond, with beamAuto aware of it?
( typing less, whole less :)
4. Is it possible to use \times blah/blah {} to draw plain brackets? I looked through
option
list, and it seems impossible to remove numbers ( it's what i've looked for}.
currently i use
\times 1/1 {}, with pletvisibility = 4, but it still prints 1 in the bracket's center.
