Weird Netscape

Sorry to interupt all music typesetting and free software discussions
with something as trivial as Netscape behaviour.

Can anyone explain to me why I can view the Lilypond *.ps.gz 
examples on Han-Wen's WWW pages by just clicking on the links,
whereas if I do the same on the same example in Jan's copy
of the WWW pages, Netscapes tries to save the file to the disk???
