I have a problem untaring/unzipping the latest lily distribution .47.tar.gz.
Invoking tar to recreate the distribution I get an error message from tar:
tar: Skipping to next file header
and a listing of the lilypond-1.1.47 dir gives
AIMS INSTALL.txt TASKS configure.in
ANNOUNCE-0.1 NEWS TODO dstreamrc
ANNOUNCEMENT-1.0 NEWS-0.0 VERSION mudela-mode.el
AUTHORS.txt NEWS-0.1 aclocal.m4 scripts
BUGS NEWS-1.0 config.hh.in vimrc
COPYING PATCHES.txt config.make.in
DEDICATION README.txt configure
running
gunzip lilypond-1.1.47.tar.gz
gives the following error message:
gunzip: lilypond-1.1.47.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--crc error
AFAIK this problem did not yet appear on this list, so help would
be appreciated.
