Speaking of manual beaming, I didn't find a method to produce
both

 |---|---|---|---|---|
 |---|---| |---|---|
 | | | | | |
o| o| o| o| o| o|

and

 |---|---|---|---|---|
 |---| |---| |---|
 | | | | | |
o| o| o| o| o| o|

The 'natural' way to me would be to nest [[s and ]]s, i.e.

[[e16 e e] [e e e]]
and
[[e16 e] [e e] [e e]]

(A similar problem is the following:

 |---|---|---|
 | |---|---|
 | | | |
o| o| o| o|

instead of

 |---|---|---|
 | -| |---|
 | | | |
o| o| o| o|

)

Can this be achieved somehow?

Thanks,
        Dirk.
