        What about if you're writing vocal music for non-musos?  :).  In our
church, most of us sing 4-part harmony, but few of us are actually proficient
musicians (in fact, when it comes to *reading* music, I'm one of the best in
our church, and I'm not *that* good :) ).  Anyway, if some poor bass who's
only just gotten the hang of notes being different lengths sees a reminder
because the Soprano has just sung a funny note, He's going to think it's kinda
pointless :).  
        Basically, all I want is an option to select non-reminder mode, or
something :).
