Clef/tie collision

I don't know if this has been addressed already or not, but I don't believe
I've ever seen a tie that started on one line and ended on the next ever run
through a clef.  I've always seen them start on the other side of a clef
(look at the tie at the end of line 1 that continues on line 2)...
