Sorry for the late reply. I was trying to build lilypond 1.3.3 last night.
It seems to be successful, except it segfaulted at one point when building
the documentation. (Perhaps my fault.) I'll try again and will upload it
soon.
If you want to compile it yourself, I suspect that you need the latest
guile1.3 and libguile6 from Debian's Incoming. (Yes, it has been stuck
there for a while.)
