first line pushed off page

i just updated all my scores to mudela 1.3.17 and regenerated them
with lily 1.3.17.  the latest one:

http://www4.smart.net/~jcovey/scores/sor/op5/5/

looks fine, but all the earlier ones have the first line pushed off
the right side of the page.  for example:

http://www4.smart.net/~jcovey/scores/carcassi/etudes-op60/carcassi-op60-01/

any ideas why this is happening?
