two-bar patterns should be marked with a o//o symbol and there is
one for single beat patterns as well. I actually began implementing
this some half year ago and I even think I have a preliminary version
of the font symbols somewhere. Hopefully, I'll get some time to
work more actively on Lilypond again and this will stay high
on my priority list.

The following LaTeX hack should give most of what you wish.
- In the header of the mudela file, add a line
latexheaders = "\\input global";
- In the mudela source, write \mark"\\nextmark{}"
- Create a file global.tex with the following LaTeX definitions:
\newcounter{markcounter}
\newcommand{\nextmark}{\stepcounter{markcounter}\Alph{markcounter}}
Of course, you may want to add some support for resetting the counter
between movements.
