I am writing a GPL'ed eartraining program for GNOME. You can find
it at http://solfege.cx The .deb should be ok, but I have no idea
about the rpm package. Someone could test it :-)
I use pixmaps from lilypond, some of those pixmaps you get when you
in lilypond-x.y.z/mf do:
make xpms
Some are slightly modified (using the Gimp) because of the screen
is low res, compared to laser printers. The GPL say I should
distribute the source. What should I do to make everybody happy?
Put the lilypond tarball on my ftp site, talk nice about lilypond
in the README file? The program is GPL'ed and I am a nice guy.
I don't want include the metafont source in my tarball as I only
use a few of the pixmaps.
