Is there any way to increase vertical spacing between lyrics in setting
multiple stanzas?
At the moment lyrics seem to be spaced based on the height of the characters
in a line of lyrics. This means that the descenders of one line touch the
ascenders of the line below, if they happen to coincide. It also means that
if you happen to set a line of text that is all lower case with no
ascenders, the line moves up so the top of the letters touch the descenders
of the line above and the whole thing looks awfully cramped. (This doesn't
happen often, but it does happen in some hymns I have set where the multiple
stanzas end and a common refrain begins a bar or two into a new line.)
