The problem may be that you are working on a Windows machine in a
subdirectory of the "Program Files" or "My Documents" directory. I suspect
the space in the directory name is not being handled well by ly2dvi.py. If
this is the case, your problem may be solved by moving your ly file to a
path without any spaces and try it there.
