I'm wondering if it might be possible to get something more generic
included for spanners that use dashes. It appears that special
variables are needed for every spanner that one might want, pedal,
cresc, etc. If one could add just a Voice.genericSpannerText, and
Voice.genericSpaner, so I could do:
\property Voice.genericSpannerText = "accel."
\property Voice.genericSpanner = "dashed-line"
it would certainly seem to be a step in the right direction, if only
to make less work for you guys.
Or is there a way to do this, and I can't find it in the mailing list
archives or manual?
