But this is not so neat.
Isn't it possible to define some short of shortcut for this, somehow?

shift[1] = \apply #(lambda (x) (shift-music x \1))
...
\pattern \shift[1] \pattern \shift[2] \pattern

Oh, it would be neat'n'nice... :)
