I'd really love to see a few of the more useful items from the full
cygwin install become part of the lilypond install. Specifically, an
editor. While vim is not my favorite at all, it at least works and could
be learned enough to enter music by even a dummy like me in only a week
of hard work...
Anyway, I think it'd be a reasonable addition, if it's possible.
