Hello, thanks for your quick response. I use the Windows 2000 professional version. I didn't change the suggested directory. I downloaded from www.lilypnd.org .I reinstalled again but got the message that everything had been installed already. Cheers, Johan Schuurbiers

I hope you didn't change the suggested directory path during the installation, unfortunately a few settings are hard coded to match this path. I cannot see anything in the startup files where the computer could get stuck, so I don't have any clue to what the problem is. You could try to run setup.exe ones again.
