Hi,
Alfred already knows about, but if someone else is interested, the unionfs
translator at savannah's hurdextras CVS now has basic stowfs functionality.
It is still a very young implementation, but it does its job.
The plan is to use it like this for each root subdirectory (/bin
example follow):
settrans -capfg /bin /hurd/unionfs -m bin --stow=/stow
