I would like to ask how does it come that gnu.org doesnt bring any news about GNU System as a whole OS. No focus on Hurd, no apparent links to such informations, nor to GNOME afaik.
That is a good question! But not one I have an answer for, but maybe http://planet.gnu.org/ might be something in vain of what you are looking for?
