May be we speak about different things.
I speak about _temp_c value (as an example).

It is initialized for EVAL_BM_MODEL during precalc_first() and then it
is lost when EVAL_BM_MODEL is converted into EVAL_BM_SEMI_RESISTOR during
expand().

please test that.
