yes. for a moment i thought it might be a good idea to redirect the output directly to the plotter. this way the plotter would be some kind of output plugin, not involving files of course! i'm not sure that it's not a good idea (marching waveform?, or just filling up a database..). but clearly plots can be generated from waves (those from .store) as well. for now. anyway i'm curious how plotting is supposed to work from the user perspective.
