Good, you have installed XmHTML.

But, for some reason, -lXmHTML does not apear on your link line.
Try adding it to the "LIBS =" line in src/motif/Makefile and re-linking.
If you want to help us out, try deleting the config.cache file in the
root of the gnucash tree, re-running ./configure, and checking if -lXmHTML
is in src/motif/Makefile. If it isn't, try to figure out why it isn't.
The output ./configure spits to the screen may provide some useful clues.
