You know, I think the gnucash project would make
a very interesting focus for a startup company.
There is an extremely broad market of people
who need this software and would be willing to
pay a few dollars for packaging, support, and a
guarantee of continued development.
Has anybody tossed around the idea of doing
a startup company to support gnucash? The guys at
Digital Creations ( http://www.digicool.com )
seem to be doing well with their open-sourced
product Zope. I'm curious what people think
of the market for this.
