Hello,

Sorry this is a bit off topic. Can anyone suggest some books,
web sources etc, that will get me up to speed on basic accounting?

I want to use GnuCash to manage my banking, investments etc. It has to
handle multiple currencies as well. I need help figuring out to
organize a set of accounts. For example, for handling a number of
stocks, would it be sensible to have:

        Stocks - 200
                CSCO - 201
                TIBX - 202

Where would I enter trading costs, dividends, etc?

Regards,

        Andy
