I think that this is a bug in the account tree display code; I
submitted a patch for this to the gnucash-patches list
last Friday. What's happening is that the account tree
is getting filled multiple times, rather than just refreshed.
So it's not that the file is corrupt, it's just that the accounts
are being displayed multiple times. And, yes, it's only
on the gnome side, not the motif side.
I can send you a patch privately if you like, to hold you
over till linas can get the CVS updated.
