Hi Matt,
Well, I've got a very usable version of the register
based on the gnome-canvas which makes GtkSheet obsolete
for our purposes. GtkSheet is not particularly
efficient with its drawing, and it seemed easier to
write something custom from scratch than fix gtksheet
up. So, I wouldn't worry at this point about it
unless you just want to learn how it works. Parts
of it are interesting, and I learned a lot from it.
In fact, until I get the new register code checked in,
it might be a good idea to hold off making extensive
changes there, since I've touched a lot of files in
the register directory. I've been waiting on linas
to get Alexandru's changes checked in to CVS before
I submit my patches, so I can clean up any conflicts.
Sorry about that, but I think (hope) you'll like the new
register code.
