On my machine, I have Gnome installed in /opt/gnome instead of /usr, and
because of that, gnucash will no longer build for me, so I attempted to
read through the configure.in and makefile.in scripts to find the
problem. I quickly got frustrated, and I decided instead to try and add
automake support as an exercise to properly understand the build
environment.
Is anyone else in the process of adding Automake support? I don't want
to duplicate effort. Also, are there any 'funnies' that I should know
about in the build environment that may cause me grief?
Comments/suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers,
G.
