In regards to the second question, the gnome register widget has
recently been replaced with a much-improved version. It still needs
a bit of work, but it is much close to what is needed.
As to the first question, no one seems to be working on the qt side
right now.

I may be wrong, but I thought a windows version of cvs was available?
