As far as gtkxmhtml goes, would you mind if I have a go at working
up a patch? I've got to learn autoconf myself, and detecting a header
file should be a fairly simple introduction. I'll have a go Sunday
morning, patch should be done by the evening (Australian time)
WRT eperl, looking at the code, eperl's location seems to be hardwired
into the code. It would be fairly simple to test for eperl's
existence in autoconf, compile the location in, and then test whether
it's still present and executable.
However, this is the sort of thing that should be modifiable in a
config file or changable via an environment variable. Is this the
sort of thing that the scheme code handles?
