Hi Linas,
How is Gnucash 1.2.5 coming? Do you think it will be out tonight? I
brought home a ton of Linux distro CDs from work today and plan on
building and checking binaries for them. My goal is to get one done a
night. I have:
FreeBSD 3.3
Slackware 7.0
Slackware 4.0
SuSE 6.2
TurboLinux 3.6
Linux Mandrake 6.1
Caldera 2.3
I am going to hit the RPM based distros first to make sure the current
RPM doesn't work before building another one. Anyway, I want to make
sure you are going to release 1.2.5 tonight so I can build for it
instead of 1.2.4. I figure once I get VMware setup with each distro it
shouldn't be as bad to build binaries. VMware has this neat feature
that will reset your virtual HD back to what you started with.. so I can
install and break things... then just restart it and I am back to normal
and ready for another test run! In theory its a great tool, we'll see
how it works though.
I cc'ed the list in case anyone wants to give there advice on building
binaries.
