Hi I have been trying to compile gnucash-1.2.5 motif version all day now. make fails with the following: make[4]: Entering directory '/usr/local/gnucash-1.2.5/src/swig/perl5' /bin/sh: -c: line 1:syntax error near unexpected token '()" /bin/sh: -c: line 1: '() >> gnucash.engine.i' make[4]: *** [gnucash.engine.i] Error 2 etc... Just what is causing this syntax error ? The configure script reports no problems and nothing missing going in.
