If you create a tree of liability accounts, or perhaps other kinds of accounts,

it only assigns the type liability to alternating accounts. For example.

+- My Liabilities [listed as type Liability]
+- My Short Term Liabilities [lsited w/o a type]
+-My College Short Term Liabilities [listed as type Liability]
                +-My Fall 1999 Loans [Listed w/o type]

Each account was created as type liability with the parent account being the
one above it. The top account being without a parent.

It won't let you access a register for the ones without a type, and if you save

and restart with this layout the accounts w/o types and all of their
subaccounts
are destroyed, sometimes along with other non-related accounts.

Ben
