Sounds good to me.  I am cc;ing the mailing list to make sure we don't
end up with a versionitis problem.

No.  My only concern would be that your Quote.pm continued to work with
the stuff inside of gnucash.  One recurring problem with gnucash is that
it requires too many other things to be installed; thus, it might make
more sense to take periodic snapshots of your quote.pm and redistribute
it with gnucash.
