Did someone successfully import a QIF file exported from
Moneydance? (Successfully meaning account balances match)
Seems like Moneydance creates one big QIF file with all the
accounts in. For some reason, it also uses an Equity type
account to handle the double-entry accounting. Instead of
ending up:
Payment BANK Checking 200$
Credit EXPENSE Misc 200$
I would endup with transfers from the BANK account to the
EQUITY account. And also from the EXPENSE account to the
EQUITY account. It mixes up all the account balances.
