First I would like to compliment all the developers and other
contributors to a really excellant software package. You should
justifiably be proud.
Second I would like to apologize if my last message came across as
rather arrogant - I reread and got that impression myself - at the
original writing my mood was far from that.
Lastly - a simple question: when I attempt to delete a transaction, a
dialog box pops up asking me if I really want to, I click on yes and
then ... nothing happens. The transaction is still there. I can delete
splits under a transaction, but not a whole transaction. This is nothing
but a minor nuisance (I don't often want to do this) and I can simply
zero out the amount of the transaction, put in a dummy name, put in a
date in the future and then use the transaction when I want to add
another transaction to the account. Just curious if maybe there may be
something wrong with my configuration or something.
I am using version 1.34 with KDE 1.1.2. In installing gnucash, the RPM
said that the library libguile.so.4 was missing. I made it a link to
libguile.so.6 and forced the installation. Could that be causing the
non-working of transaction delete?
