Yesterday I downloaded 1.3.5 and installed in order to get the
transaction delete function working. After I installed, I booted and
opened my account file. After a few moments of looking at a specific
account and experimenting with the transaction delete function, I
started getting weird results for some of the 'transfer from' fields.
Stepped back and took another close look at the accounts ------ most of
the transactions were missing.

Version 1.3.5 that I downloaded (the rpm package for RedHat 6.x - I am
using Mandrake 7.0-2 (Air)) seems to not be able to read all of the
transactions written by 1.3.4. I deleted all of the files for that set
of accounts and copied over the backup files from floppy (Yes - I
automatically backup to floppy as the last step before exiting -
immediately after doing an ordinary save - every time I run every
financial package). Booted gnucash 1.3.5 again - most of the
transactions were missing. It seemed to miss all of the transactions in
most accounts. Some accounts got all of the transactions, the remaining
accounts got no transactions. Out of 78 Leaf accounts, only 6 or 7 had
any transactions in them. All of the other accounts ended up with no
transactions at all. I tried uninstalling and copying the backup files
from floppy in various combinations - same result every time. The same
accounts always came with their transactions and no transactions in any
other account.

I just downloaded 1.3.4 again, uninstalled 1.3.5, installed 1.3.4,
booted and all transactions are there again. So it seems to be a problem
in the version of 1.3.5 I downloaded (from ftp.gnucash.org)

Has anybody else seen this behavior? Or maybe it is peculiar to my
particular installation ?
