Right now the g-wrap tarfile is only available on our ftp site, but
that will change.
The short-term goal was to break out g-wrap so that we don't have a
bastardized version in our tree, and so that we don't have a project
inside our project that contains it's own configure system. autoconf
doesn't like that one bit.
Also, for those curious, I'm taking over upstream development of
g-wrap from Christopher Lee, though he'll still be involved whenever
he wants to.
The long term goal is to have a real home for the g-wrap stuff.
That'll probably happen in the next month or two, but for now, I'm
just going to notify Christopher so he can update his ftp pointers.
I also agree that having rpm's lying around would be nice, but as you
point out, since it's only a build-time dependency, and since we have
the tarfile sitting there, I'm not in as big a rush.
