Don't worry, this is a perfectly acceptable place for your message.
What version of guile are you using? This seems to be a g-wrap
problem; Rob Browning is the expert there, you will doubtless
be hearing from him.
I want to mention that the motif version, which you appear
to be building, is no longer supported. If you want to use the
motif version, you should probably downgrade to 1.3.2 or so,
as motif probably won't even compile in later versions.
If you can, I would recommend building the gnome version.
It has many new features, and is being actively developed.
