This was a bug, it's fixed now (in CVS). If you're using 1.3.6,
it will be in 1.3.7 which should be released Sunday evening,
available on Monday.

Yours was the first report :) We used to have a bug tracker on the main
web page, but I'm not sure where it went. Jeremy Collins may be redoing
things.
