Hi all!

I am not subscribed to this list (please mail me if it is somehow
important to subscribe to this list), but want to let you know about my
problems with gnucash 1.3.99:

- configure does not know OpenBSD
=> the entry for i386-NetBSD in config.guess does also work with
   i386-OpenBSD
- in gnc-prices you should use "use lib '/usr/local/lib/gnucash'" for
"use gnucash" because in that directory gnucash.pm and gnucash.so are
  installed
- When entering the description of a transaction gnucash tries to guess
what I am entering by completing my entry with similar old ones. This is
a very nice feature, but gnucash does not really know about german
umlauts (at least with OpenBSD). When completing an entry it treats all
umlauts the same, which is not really nice, e.g. having entered
"Bcker" once, entering "b" also completes to "Bcker".
- g-wrap checks for a rscheme binary called "rs" in /usr/bin. OpenBSD
comes with a program called "rs" to "reshape a data array" which is
*not* a scheme interpreter. (is this the correct place for this
  problem?)

Last but not least: Thanks a lot for this great program and keep up the
good work!

bye,

Nikolay
