Ouch.  I'm sorry :( I guess that's yet another case where "save early,
save often" is your friend.

I just want to confirm that there are some As Yet Unidentified bugs in
gnucash right now.  I saw a couple of completely unexpected/untraced
segmentation faults and Scheme errors while I was working on other
things today.

My suspicion is that the problems are garbage-collection related; the
Guile Scheme environment is pretty smart, but you have to do a little
bit of explicit memory management when programming in C and sometimes
it's easy to forget.

These are similar symptoms to those I've seen.  Dave Peticolas is
looking at the problem IIRC, and I'll look myself.

This is really the only "showstopper" I know of ATM; it will
definitely be fixed before 1.4 gets that version number.
