   Interesting as REBOL may or may not be, it doesn't appear to be
free software.

Snipped from the REBOL/Core license:

You may not remove from the Software or alter or add to its copyright, trademark and 
other
proprietary rights notices contained in the Software. You may not reverse engineer,
decompile, or disassemble the Software.

That doesn't sound like free (open-source) software to me.
Unfortunately, if it's not free, we can't use it as part of gnucash.

Please correct me if my understanding of the situation is incorrect.
