Hi Jeremy,

I don't know if you're the right person to email, but could you flick this
on to the appropriate person if not?

I've just stumbled across GnuCash, and like what I see. I've just been
playing with Quicken, but I'm not very impressed & want to give GnuCash a
go.

Anyway, what I'm writing about: on
http://www.gnucash.org/docs/C/xacc-quicken.html, you say:

"Quicken can only export one account to each data file, which means that if
you have many accounts, this may prove to be a somewhat tedious process. (On
the other hand, it should be a whole lot less tedious than entering the data
from scratch.)"

The Unofficial Quicken 2000 Web Page (http://www.defaria.com/Quicken/) has
the following tip for exporting all accounts at once:

"It is possible to export all accounts at once to a .qif file. The secret is
to hold the Shift & Control keys down while selecting File: FileOperations:
Export. Then scroll the Quicken account to export from dropdown box to the
top and you should see a <All Accounts> selection. "

Hopefully this might make the transition less painful for the ex-Quicken
users ;)

Cheers

Darren
