Hi all!
In the right lower corner Gnucash prints a summary of my profits and
assets. As I am living in germany I have to use some accounts in german
marks and some in euro.
1) It would be nice if gnucash allowed me to transfer money from a euro
account to a german marks account and vice versa as is possible in the
real world. Because of the fixed rate of exchange this should not be too
tricky, right? What is the Right Way to transfer money this way right now?
2) When calculating the above mentioned profits and assets Gnucash does
not care about the currency of my different accounts. It just sums them up
number by number. When enabling Euro support I get an additionaly column
with euro profits/assets calculated right (because it just sums up the
euro amounts?)!
