Yep. We've been working closely with Jon Trowbridge (of guppi) to
integrate things. We'll have interactive callbacks, etc. From what
I've seen he's been doing outstanding work.

Actually, guile is far more than fast enough for this kind of thing.
If you think about it, calling a callback is a very cheap operation.
As long as we're not trying to do something like render an image from
guile (pixel-by-pixel or something), we should be fine.
