shares and fonds

Is it possible now or in the next future to manage the daily
stock/fonds situation (with manual input for fonds and via internet
for stocks) in gnucash and get the overview about different periods as
charts?  If it is not planned to handle in gnucash, does anybody
know what program is able to do it (of course not in windows)?
