I've never had to inventory anything using other than decimal fractions,
and never to more than two decimal places. The pricing is sometimes in
negative powers of two, but when the bill comes everything always works out
to dollars and cents and units and sometimes hundredths of a unit.

Actually, the balance is stated in "units". I'm supposed to know that the
unit is 32 pound bushels for feed oats and 56 pound bushels for feed corn.
