Hopefully we've done enough testing that this should be seamless, but you never know. New mailing list software: We are now using Mailman, which is pretty nifty and easy to set up. There's web archives and web subscription admin out of the box and (apparently) working right now. Transition to new list: Everyone on the list should receive a welcome message in the next half hour which includes the password you will need to administer your subscriber account. Save it. Once everyone is subscribed to the "new list", Jeremy will set the old list to forward to the new list at gnumatic.net, which is pointing at us. This will make sure that the list isn't interrupted while the new gnucash.org DNS propagates. Both gnucash-devel and gnucash-patches are there. What you should do: Nothing. Continue to send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], and it will get to the right place. Web site: For the time being, we have the old Gnucash web site hosted at www.gnucash.net. When DNS gets pointed at us, it will show up as www.gnucash.org too. Mailman's administrative page is hung off of the gnumatic site, at www.gnumatic.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo. Let me know if there are any problems. Thanks, Bill Gribble -- Gnucash Developer's List To unsubscribe send empty email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
