But as fas as I know, SuSE 7.1 Pro comes with gnucash 1.4.x (I don't know the exact version), so chances are good that you don't need any additional libraries. Of course you need to install the developement packages of gnome, guile, slib (this comes with a scheme package) and g-wrap-0.9.12. I think you need to get at least g-wrap from ftp.gnucash.org. (Unfortunatly gnucash-1.4.x needs g-wrap-0.9.x and gnucash-1.5.x needs g-wrap-1.0.x, but if you want to use gnucash with real data you should use 1.4.x anyway.)
