C90 (gcc 3.4.1) problems with gnucash-gnome2-dev branch.

Hello, 

I tried to build gnucash-gnome2-dev branch with GCC 3.4.1, but it failed
with many C90 errors (also two non-C90 problems with libegg). Anyway, I
tried to fix them and here's the patch..
