Quoting Mark Johnson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

My update fetched version 12361.

You waited too long and more changes were made..

However, configure failed with the following:
checking whether fdopen is declared... no
configure: adding -D_POSIX_SOURCE to CFLAGS
checking whether fdopen is declared... no
configure: error: fdopen is not available

The only fdopen I found was in stdio.h. It was included if __USE_POSIX was defined. I tried adding that to CFLAGS and re-running configure, but it did not help.

What am I missing? Rev. 12354 compiled for me, so this is a recent change in configure.

This section of configure has been there since r12096. It's /possible/
that other changes in configure have caused this particular check to
now fail where it didn't before. However the last change to configure
was r12350 so nothing has changed since it last worked for you.

Can you cut-and-paste the portions of config.log about this test?

Mark
